Urbexing

This is a bit of a different post for me today. I know I’m usually blogging about all things pretty and beauty related but I really do enjoy photography, but I’m not a fan of landscapes, I don’t mind them to look at, but I don’t particularly like taking them. They require a lot of luck, especially in England so instead, I like to find my way into an old abandoned and fire damaged hospital!
I went to this hospital which has been derelict for a very long time, and then a few years ago they had a fire. It is currently ‘fenced off’ although they have done a terrible job, making it nice and easy for me to get in.
These are the kinda shots I took, I just picked a few that I like although there really were a lot of photos.
There were gas canisters in some rooms and pages of bibles undamaged in others. There was even pregnancy and virology test packets and patients records dotted around the place.
It was so spooky but I loved it and I can’t wait to do some more research and find somewhere else to investigate and photograph.
