  • Carrots can help to protect the outer layers of your skin. They actually help to prevent premature ageing. Citrus fruits also help your body to produce collagen by holding your skin cells together. Eat your five a day, and more tomatoes for better skin
  • If you suffer from any kind of dark circles or puffy eyes then you can use a cold metal spoon to reduce it. Run the spoon under some cold water and gently press it on the skin under the eyes. You can even use cucumber, a slice of potato or a cold tea bag to reduce dark circles and puffiness. The angle of your head can even be adjusted to help prevent it. Try lifting your head and sleeping with an extra pillow
  • Two coats of mascara is usually plenty to give your lashes definition and volume, anymore than this is generally unnecessary given that it doesn’t change the appearance all that much and just makes it a pain to take off. A thin line of eyeliner though can also make a huge difference to making your top lashes appear fuller. Always, always, always use an eyelash curler.
