Beauty Tip Tuesday #4

lightbulb-idea

  • If you suffer from redness on your face it is probably worthwhile investing in a green corrector concealer and a yellow toned foundation or tinted moisturiser. The green and yellow will really help to counteract the redness.
  • In order to reduce spots and blemishes and improve your overall complexion, wash your face with hot water, as hot as you can handle on your face, use your usual face wash and then splash your face with really cold water, again, as cold as you can put up with. The hot water opens up your pores so allows you to get all the grub out, then the cold water does the opposites and closes them so no other crap can get in.
  • If you’re like me, then you’ll struggle massively with getting a nice thin line of eyeliner. Try use a pencil type brush with a thin tip and look down into a mirror, then make lots of dots along your lash line. You can either leave it like that to make it look really subtle or you can then go along, continuing to look down into the mirror and join all the little dots up.

  1. Love this post! I just can't seem to get the hang of green correctors, either the one I bought is crap or I'm useless at applying it. Someday I'll hopefully be able to figure it out!

  2. Congratulations on the 100th post! I have trouble getting a thin line as well, my liner always becomes too thick, especially because I try to correct flaws by increasing the thickness. Will try out the dotting technique – thanks so much!
