Excuse my slightly messy room in the background but the lights look pretty 😉
I thought i’d join in with the Valentines Day hype and do a post with a FOTD for Valentines Day. Probably should have got this online a little earlier but oh well. Better late than never 🙂
On Valentines Day, in the way of make up, most people seem to opt for a pretty neutral pinky shade on the eyes but I thought i’d be a bit different and go for maybe a ‘sexier’ and more sultry look.
I forgot to take a picture of the make up I used but for the eye make up I just used my BH cosmetics 120 colour palette and some of my Urban Decay Naked 2.
For my base, instead of primer I used the lasting perfection concealer and then put a very pale pink on top all over my lid. I ran some of this medium brown through my crease as a transitional colour and blended that out thoroughly and then smothered my lid in a dark grey colour. Finally, I used a super small amount of Blackout from Naked 2 and blended that into my crease and upwards ever so slightly.
I nearly forgot, I smudged a bit of the black on my lower lash line and then I was obviously supposed to add mascara but I completely forgot… Awkward.
What do you think? Would you wear this for Valentines Day?
Although I'm only going to the pubs with mates tomorrow night, I reckon i could try this out! Lovely subtle smokey-eye 🙂 Wendy xx

Such a pretty and sultry look! Unfortunately, I'll be stuck all day at school and work this Valentines Day, so I'll be going for a lighter look!

I'm definitely a bigger fan of a sultry look over a soft, pink toned look! And I think your hair looks great! 🙂 It's a really pretty shade!
