FOTD & First Impressions.

That little bit of mascara on my lid… Erghh.

L’Oreal Infalliable 24hr and Color Riche 376

You may or may not have noticed the lack of blog posts recently and I can only apologise. I have been incredibly busy and have done a LOT of festivals this year – 6 to be precise.  Meaning that i’ve either not had internet or have been feeling pretty rough and recovering from too much cider and not enough sleep. The knock on effect is that I’ve not been working as much and have therefore not had much spare money to buy products for reviews.  Fear not (doubt any ones actually been that worried) I’m back.

L’Oreal Infalliable 24hr Foundation (125)

You guys all know how much I love my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation but I was really drawn to this product after watching so many of Lauren Curtis videos from Australia. She raves about this foundation and she uses it as her benchmark, comparing everything else she tries to it. It’s quite a new release in the UK, I think.

I’m pretty impressed with this already. It lasts well and it applies brilliantly with a brush although after testing to see how it applied with my fingers I was left a little disappointed, not because it looked bad but it just looked less flawless. I generally hate applying foundations with my fingers and have always preferred the effect of using a brush so I guess that is just personal preference.

I was pretty impressed with the colour range too, although think I chose one that was a little too light. Damn those bright lights in boots. (I should have checked in natural light, I know)

L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick (376)

I’ll just start by saying that this lipstick is absolutely beautiful. The colour, the formula, the finish. Everything, it is just amazing. I’m a big fan of MAC lipsticks which means that I rarely pick up highstreet lipsticks, let alone fall in love with them.

I can just tell that this will become a staple winter lipstick because its the perfect purple/red. Unfortunately the picture of me wearing this lipstick above makes it appear a little more red than it is. It’s a truer to colour in the actual bullet.

I can’t wait to get my hands on some more colours from this range.
