Liz Earle: Cleanse and Polish

IMG_3066

I know everybody even remotely interested in beauty has heard of this  but I’m posting about it anyway because it’s good. If you haven’t heard about it, you’ve probably been living under a rock but that’s okay, we all do it sometimes 🙂

The Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish is a two step cleanser which has won tonnes of awards. It makes removing grime and makeup a doddle, effortlessly cleaning skin without the need for scrubbing. It’s all botanical too, made from plants as apposed to nasty chemicals you don’t really want to be putting on your face. It’s also fine for all skin types and ages so if you’re struggling for a present for someone this is a pretty good bet!

I like to use this morning and night generally and my skin really does feel incredibly clean afterwards. The first step involves massaging the product all over your dry face, it doesn’t sting on the eyes so you can remove your eye makeup and mascara with it too. The second step is where the whole hot cloth thing comes into play. You dampen your muslin cloth and you polish off the product, in turn removing dead skin cells and other dirt.

I’d recommend buying some extra muslin cloths because they do need to be washed and it’s just more convenient if you have a few on the go. You can buy this from boots which I recommend because the points scheme is so good! It costs £14 for 100ml although that does not come with a cloth. It’s definitely worth the money though and I am a believer that skin care is something that’s really worth spending that little bit more money on. It’s so gentle but effective and that’s all you can really ask for!
