Lipstick is my thing. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, it’s the one piece of makeup that I consistently get excited about. Suffice to say, when I was in America I made full use of Sephora and this was one of the bits that fell into my basket. My very very expensive basket. I’ve had a love/hate relationship with liquid lipsticks, but this is definitely a love affair. I love love love them. LOVE! Especially the colour. It’s a gorgeous true orange shade and it looks so good, especially with a tan. The formula doesn’t disappoint either, I’d actually go as far as to say it’s the best I’ve tried. It doesn’t bleed at all which is one of the biggest downfalls of the Rimmel Apocalypse in my opinion. Whenever I put them on, they bleed so much, even when I use a lip liner and that’s not cute. They stay where you put them and they genuinely do not budge. Despite eating and drinking, they stay on the lips amazingly. They do transfer to glasses and stuff but they colour doesn’t leave your actual lips. Lastly, they do all of the above, without drying your lips out. Sound perfect?! I’ve got another review of the Kat Von D ones coming up in the near future but you’ll just have to wait and see to hear my thoughts on them.
Beautiful photo. I wish there was a Sephora in the UK but I know I would spend all my time there if there was. I would love a swatch of this shade. Great post x
