Ombré liner feat. Arbonne.

Liquid liner… the bain of most makeup lovers lives. I’ll be the first to admit that it’s always been a part of my makeup that I’ve just tended to skip, not because I don’t like it. Just because I can never quite get it right, at which point it then either fucks up my whole face or I spend the day feeling like one eye is huge and one tiny, or one is just droopy or super lifted. Not cute.

That said, in recent months I have been making a conscious effort to wear it more often, and as the old saying goes: practice really does make perfect. I use the word perfect lightly, it’s not perfect, but it’ll do and by the time I’ve whacked mascara on, you really can’t notice the imperfections.

I thought I’d try my hand at an ombré style liner after a friend of mine sent me an eyeliner to try out for a company called Arbonne. They are a totally natural and nasty free company who strive to use the best ingredients whilst being vegan, plant & mineral based. She is no puritan but says she does believe that the base of her food, skin care and makeup should be high quality and not to the detriment of flufffy animals.

Onto the eyeliner, it is honestly (and I’m obviously not just saying this – if I didn’t like it, I would have told her and I wouldn’t be writing this) so creamy! It glides on such a treat and there is no chance in hell it is gonna drag or be catchy on your eye area! The colour is gorgeous as you can see and would be so flattering on green and brown eyes in particular. Praise the lord, because finally an eyeliner that twists up, rather than needing to be sharpened. Also, if your problem is that you always get the eyeliner on your lid too thick, a pencil like this is so great because it’s much easier to remove a little with some concealer or a cotton bud.

If you’re interested in learning more about Arbonne, they are a family run business and have been up and running for 40 years, based all across the world. Take a gander here for more info and to browse if you’re interested!
